We've arrived in Fort Kochi on Friday night after 6 hours road trip. Went to a restaurant searching for a tasty seafood and I've found a delicious grilled fish with Indian spices. Fort Kochi is really different than Coimbatore with many tourists and western characteristics because of european influence. In the afternoon we went to a boat tour on a kind of houseboats that did glide us on the backwaters in Kochi, with panoramic view passing by. It was very lovely and we could see the unforgettable sunset. On Sunday we went to the beach and also met with India 16 team members hosted in Kochi, they arrived one week after us. It was very funny try to surf without surfboards with Govert, Andrew, Jo and Valery, we had a good time!
Chegamos em Fort Kochi na sexta a noite depois de uma viagem de 6 horas pelas estradas daqui, isso porque a distancia era somente de 200Km. Chegamos famintos e fomos procurar um bom restaurante de comida marinha e encontrei um delicioso peixe grelhado com os temperos indianos, muito gostoso. Fort Kochi é bem diferente de Coimbatore com muitos turistas, influencia europeia e caracteristicas muito ocidentais. A tarde fomos passear de barco pelos canais de Fort Kochi os famosos remansos de Kerala, muito interessante e bonito, jamais vou me esquecer do por do sol. No domingo fomos a praia e tambem encontramos o time India 16 que estão hospedados em Kochi, eles chegaram uma semana depois de nós. Foi muito engraçado pegar jacarés com o pessoal do time; foi tudo muito bom!
